Sunday ("Sunday," "we," "us") is operated by JTM Media LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions? Email hello@sundaydates.com.
Your profile has no photos on it. The selfie is only used to confirm there is a real person behind the account. It is never shown on your profile and your match never sees it.
If you start a profile and do not finish it, we keep the answers you have given so far, with your name and email, so you can come back and carry on where you left off. If you never finish, we delete them after 90 days.
We do not use your profile answers for advertising.
Our public pages use Meta advertising tools, which tell us how people found Sunday. Meta uses that data for its own purposes. Nothing inside Sunday is tracked this way. Your answers, your matches, and your dates are never sent to them.
We also count arrivals on our own public pages, so we know how many people a flyer or a link actually brought. That record is the time, the link they came in on, and a random number your browser makes up for itself. No IP address, no device details, and nothing that says who you are.
Sunday staff may watch and listen to any date while it is happening, for your protection and to check any claim that somebody behaved inappropriately. You are not told when it happens. Dates are never recorded, nothing from a date is saved, and nothing is shown to anyone outside Sunday. We keep a record that a date was watched, and nothing else. This is set out in our Terms of Service.
Text messages are optional. You consent to receive them only if you tick the text-messages box when you sign up. If you leave it unticked, we use your number to verify your account and we will not text you.
Your information is stored in an encrypted database (Supabase) hosted in the United States. We keep it for as long as your Sunday profile is active. If you ask us to delete your profile, we remove your name, number, and profile answers. We do not store your information outside the providers listed below.
Sensitive information, including your phone number and profile answers, is encrypted. We limit who can access it and use reputable service providers.
We use these third parties to operate Sunday: Twilio (text messaging), Brevo (email), Supabase (encrypted storage), and a video provider (for your dates). They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Meta is the one exception. It sees visits to our public pages, and it uses that data for its own purposes. It never receives your profile answers, your matches, or anything from your dates.
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
